Côr Bro Ogwr is a large mixed voice choir based in Portcawl, South Wales. I am very grateful to the choir and its conductor in 2011, Edward Rhys Harry, for allowing me permission to use a duet, We'll offer up our morning lay, from Joseph Parry's "Emmanuel". Edward created readable scores for choir, soloists and orchestra, and the piece was performed on 17th December 2011 in All Saints' Church, Porthcawl.

The original score was commissioned for the National Eisteddfod in 1879. It was recreated for modern performance by Edward Rhys-Harry from the one surviving score, in a handwritten transcriber's version, found at the National Museum of Wales.
